The Four Linda’s is a truly inspirational series that follows the lives of four very close knit females who have not only survived relationships and jobs, but have also had each other’s back during some of the most difficult aspects of their lives.
Abby is a young woman who is married to Paul. In the last book Paul had suffered a heart attack, and Abby has gone above and beyond the call of duty in order to watch out for him and protect him from having another emergency. She’s having an extremely difficult time sleeping at night, because she and Paul have had marriage problems in the past and have been meeting with a therapist. Because of all the problems she’s having with her husband, Abby has also hardly touched the renovations that have to be made in order to change her old family house into a Bed & Breakfast named of The Coastal Cottage.
Marley is Abby’s friend and lives next to Abby’s hysterical mom on the beach. Marley has more than a slight interest in Jack, a man who runs the One Legged Seagull art gallery in town, and Ashton, Marley’s son, is suffering from a broken heart.
Caroline spends most of her time taking care of her beloved Mom who is suffering from Alzheimer’s. Although her love Mitch would do anything to get married and live together for all time, Caroline is so wrapped up in trying to watch her Mom that she can hardly see straight. She does attempt to hire an in-house nurse so that she can have a little free time in the world, but a fiery accident changes her life forever.
Last but not least is Janie. Janie worked for a long time in NYC as a lawyer, and is currently setting up the basement in Abby’s beautiful home to serve as her office in town. Janie is dating Victor, and their relationship has been going strong until…Victor lets Janie know that his ex-wire, Donna, is coming into town to try to get him back.
When Donna arrives, things begin to go extremely strange, with Donna acting as if she’s more than ‘seven bubbles off plumb.’ And the friends get together to try their best to help and support one another as life throws them curveball after curveball.
Ms. Carlson continues to bring along the four friends with every book she puts on the market. The stories are full of emotion and the power of absolute friendship.
Until next time,
