Hi All,

Hollywood invades Baltimore!!  A crew of the new TV series "Mann of Steel" has come to Baltimore and soon the fun begins.  Tess Monaghan, the heroine of the story runs into the crew while sculling on the river, heading to Fort McHenry and listening to her walkman.  A few minutes out and she literally runs into the crew of the TV series when she rows into their set.  While drying off, she is asked to serve as bodyguard and babysitter to their party hearty young, female lead actress, Selene Waites.  The director, who is the son of an Oscar-winning director, tells Tess that the set has been bothered by mishaps and vandalism lately and he fears for the star's safety.

Tess discovers damning photos of the superstar taken by a stalker, who later hanged himself.  When a crew member is killed, Tess suspects that someone is out to stop the filming.  Tess is finding out that keeping a spoiled movie princess from harm may be more that she can handle.  Selene is a lot more devious that she appeared to be and a murder on the set threatens to make the production come crashing down on the lives of all concerned.

This book is one in a series and I have not read any of the others.  I definitely give it a four star and, perhaps if I had read the others, a five star as the author is a very good story teller and I looked forward to each chapter with anticipation.  I was not disappointed.  Readers are treated to a very good mystery and a main character who is funny and very smart.  Mystery readers will eat it up.  Enjoy.

Talk to you soon,
Mary
