Reggie Scott, who has never had magical powers, even though she was born into an Arcani family, suddenly finds herself thrust into the Arcani world in a big way when she is chosen as one of the new Fairy Godmothers. Unfortunately for Reggie, she must not only contend with unfamiliar new powers but a plot to take over the world, an unreasonable Arcani Counsel, former Godmothers on the run, a curse, and the other newly chosen godmother considered a fugitive. Luckily Reggie has her family and friends to aid her, among them her mysterious customer, Nate, and handsome Jonathan Bastion, who is keeping his own secrets.

As You Wish is an enjoyable, paranormal romance with great characters and a fairytale-like quality. Reggie is a great heroine with a very good heart. I loved the fact, that she loved the hero, no matter what, and forgave him his mistakes, without any long drawn out drama. Jonathan is a yummy hero, who has secrets and, at first, seeks to use Reggie but soon grows to love her.

With endearing characters and a fairytale-like atmosphere, As You Wish is a recommended read for the paranormal romance reader.
