Lots of water under the bridge and a lot hurt on every side since the magical night where they almost made love—followed by the surprise marriage of Justin to another woman. The sparks fly as wounds from years ago are opened. Both trying to protect themselves from more hurt, yet, both wanting and needing the comfort of the other.
When they finally get together, it’s as hot and steamy as they had imagined it would be. Can they turn their lives around and get together? Or will the past continue to be a barrier?
This book goes from hot to fire! The action keeps coming with a Navy SEAL and a headstrong girl with a price on her head. The action keeps you moving through the story and the romance and raw passion is the icing on the cake. The ending does give us a glimpse at a possible sequel. I’d love to read Turk’s story as well.
