In ancient times, in Egypt, cats were revered as Gods and they have played on this ever since.
When quilter and cat-lover, Jillian Hart, tries to find the owner of a beautiful stray cat her search takes her to an extremely wealthy woman in Woodcrest, SC. The lady, Ritaestelle Longworth is keeping the town gossips busy as they think she is a little crazy as she insists that there is someone out there who is feeding her drugs to keep her away from her cat. While Jillian is busy trying to find the cat's owner and check out Ritaestelle's accusations, a body is found in the lake behind Ritaestelle's house. And, her cat finds Ritaestelle standing over it.
Enter, Jillian and her three furry friends as they begin to investigate. Solving this mystery will take Jillian into a year's old puzzle. Jillian and her cats know that this is not going to be an easy one to solve. So, they start searching for the killer.
If you are a cat lover, as I am, you will love this 3rd volume in the Cats In Trouble Mysteries. This is the best so far and Cozy readers will not be able to put this one down so, remember to start it in the morning so you can finish in one day. Enjoy and I'll talk to you soon.
