Lizzie has just turned thirty and has accepted the fact that she is a demon slayer. She wonders what happened to the good old days of being a normal preschool teacher and living up to her adoptive parentsí image. Instead she has just survived by killing a fifth level demon and saving her grandmother from its clutches.

Her grandmother is a witch who rides Harleys with her coven and has adopted Lizzie. Her grandmother takes her under her wing and teaches her all she knows about demon slaying on the run. She also saved her boyfriend, Dimitri from the demon that was chasing her grandmother. Dimitri is a special guy. He happens to be able to shape-shift into a griffin. To top it all off her fairy godfather, Phil has been kidnapped by a succubus and taken to Las Vegas so the succubus can marry him.

Lizzie decides that her grandmother is not teaching her enough and starts writing her own manual, The Dangerous Book for Demon Slayers. Lizzie decides to take the whole party to Las Vegas so that they can rescue her fairy godfather and take care of the succubus problem at the same time. The rescue and cleanup was an action filled frenzy that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

This book was hilarious. Lizzie is such a wonderful character. I felt for her so much with all of the ups and downs she has throughout the book. You go through the book wondering if sheíll ever get a break. She hasnít been trained like her mother was, her grandmother teaches her on the fly, and her boyfriend (as gorgeous as he is) is a shape-shifting griffin. Itís all so much for her to handle. I just wanted to drop in and give the poor girl a hand. The only thing I will say is that it would be helpful to read the previous book first as it gives more background to this story. Overall though, this book is a real page turner.
