During a quilting seminar at an Inn in the Adirondacks a murder is committed, and the Quilting ladies of the Someday Quilts club are getting together to solve the case. Unfortunately, one of their own is the prime suspect.
Nell Fitzgerald is overjoyed to be taking a break from her on -again, off-again romance with Police Chief Jesse Dewalt in the town of Archers Rest, NY, when she agrees to help the ladies of the Someday Quilts teach a class in quilting at a new B & B called the Patchwork Bed and Breakfast in upstate New York. All Nell's dreams of having a heavenly escape full of peace and quiet are shattered when they arrive at the Bed and Breakfast and find it very run down and not at all inviting. To top it all off, the proprietor is murdered (shot through the heart and covered with a quilt from the class). As you might have already guessed, one of the quilters takes top billing as the killer. Nell leads the way as the ladies start detecting, much to the dismay of local law enforcement and also Nell's love who wants to help out.
This is a fascinating story, and the ladies of Someday Quilts are an interesting bunch. The B&B has an interesting past and with the body found under a quilt that doesn't even have a bullet hole through it, the girls find some new clues to work with. This story will keep you turning the pages for hours. So, enjoy and I'll talk to you soon.
