Cozy mysteries are surely in, or close to the top of the charts for readers. I know that I enjoy them immensely. This series featuring Georgiana Neverall is so great that I couldn't put it down. Drip Dead is the third in this series and is the best so far. Georgiana has come home to Oregon after leaving the corporate world behind. She has become a plumber's apprentice and is enjoying her new vocation. She has agreed to purchase her mother's house, the house she grew up in, as mom is about to be married to Gregory Whitlock, a real estate mogul and a little too smooth for Georgiana's liking. She has also agreed to check out a plumbing problem at her mom's house. She is crawling under the house to do this chore when she discovers that hers is not the only body under the house. Mom's intended is under there and very dead.
Georgiana's mother is soon handcuffed and charged with murdering her intended husband. Georgiana is out to clear her mother's name and comes up with a few secrets that Whitlock has been hiding from his bride-to-be. And, someone wants the secrets buried with him.
An excellent fast-paced story with plumbing tips included. The story is quick and lots of fun to read. Enjoy, and I'll talk to you soon.
