This book is the fourth in the Charlotte McNally Series. These books are a thrill-ride that you don't want to leave.
Drive Time is again a story of TV investigative reporter Charlotte McNally. Her work involves keeping confidential everything she is told but, in this volume it seems that everyone has a secret of some sort and it is very believable that it is possible to know too much.
Charlie's latest story is the revelation of a counterfeit car swindle. There is a little bit of everything including stakeouts, high-speed chases and some hidden camera work and Charlie thinks the ratings for this show will go through the roof. Soon her investigative snooping leads her into a clever scheme. Charlie’s personal and professional lives are also in disarray. Charlie has never been a person who believed that everything always turns out for the best but she is finally living a happy life and she is aware that extortion and murder might leave her by herself again or even lifeless.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Drive Time. It is smart, funny and very interesting. Ms. Ryan obviously knows what she is talking about as she is an investigative reporter. A wonderful mystery and I'm looking forward to number five.
I'll talk to you soon,
