After being accused of stealing disks and fired from her job,
Danielle "Danny" Porter pulls over on the side of the road to have a
good cry. Only to have a handsome deputy sheriff stop and offer
assistance. The deputy turns out to be guy, that she had a crush on in
high school.
Deputy Sheriff Michael McAllister can't believe his good luck to run into the girl, that he had a crush on in high school. He is determined not to let an opportunity with her pass by again. When Danny's house is broken into, Michael comes to her aid, and they become closer. Unfortunately, someone wants the stolen disks, and they believe Danny has them.
Duty Bound is an enjoyable contemporary romance with interesting characters. Danny is a strong, independent woman, who has some body image issues. Michael, who was too afraid to ask her out in high school, loves her short, voluptuous body and everything about her. Michael has become a handsome, alpha man , who will do everything in his power to love and protect Danny--even at the risk of his job. Michael and Danny make a wonderful couple, and the mystery within the story adds a great conflict to overcome. All in all, Duty Bound is a great story of a couple grabbing a second chance at love; I highly recommend it.
