Dan and Amy are in the busiest city in China. Shortly into the story, they fight about their parents, which causes Dan to run from Amy. When that happens, Dan is kidnapped. Then he is lost in one of the biggest cities. That’s where he finds himself along with his stuck-up cousin, Jonah Wizard. Jonah and Dan are running around China with hopes of finding Amy. So where is Amy? Will they ever find each other? Read The Emperor’s Code to find out!
There weren’t many characters in this book but the ones that were there were crazy. First, there’s Dan and Amy. Brother and sister. In this book, they take fighting to the extreme, which gets Dan lost in a huge city. Dan meets Jonah Wizard who is a total Gangsta. He takes care of Dan through the book. Then Alistair Oh tries to help Amy with trying to find Dan. There is also the Kabras who will stop at nothing to win. Finally, there are the Holts who are climbing Mount Everest to try to find the clue.
I think that this book was, as the others, very good. The book was very action packed and filled with adventures. Lies come as if they are just words. It’s enough for me to not put the book down. I loved the action and adventure like the imposter Terracotta Warrior, the kidnapping, and meeting Cora Wizard. Want to know more about Dan and Amy and their adventures? You’ll have to read The Emperor’s Code to find out everything. There’s so much action you’ll be spellbound from beginning to end. It’s so amazing and I loved it!
