Back again with the same author. This book is just as fascinating as Prime Time and with the same characters. Really fast paced and a very important story.
We're back with Charlie McNally, multiple Emmy winner as a TV journalist investigator who has to come up with a dynamic story that will win awards and keep the station that she works for the most popular in Massachusetts. New evidence has come to light that Dorinda Sweeney may have been falsely convicted of her husband's murder even though she did confess to the crime. This story will be a nightmare as it might ruin the career of Massachusetts Attorney General Ortega who is running as a perfect crime solver and just might prove to be not so perfect. Also, Charlie is trying to deal with meeting her new loves daughter. Said daughter is not overjoyed at Charlie’s place in her dad's life and makes it very difficult for Charlie to juggle her personal and professional lives.
Again, Ms. Ryan has written this story very well and I think that it is better plotted than the previous one, although Prime Time was also very good. Face Time will keep the reader up at night until it's finished. Speaking of that, it has a very surprising conclusion.
All the Best,
