Dear Reader:

The acclaimed Otter Bay novels include Sweet Waters, which was nominated for an American Christian Fiction Writer’s Book of the Year Award. With this amazing piece of fiction, I was immediately entranced with this author and her ability to give readers novels that are filled with "faith, flip flops, and waves of grace."With this latest novel, Julie Carobini once again presents a story that is full of richness and romance, with a plot that will make you keep reading until the very last word has been said.

Here, we meet up with Suz Mitchell. She is one of those positive people who refuse to let life get her down. Suz is a true dreamer at heart, and she is also an accomplished artist who brings her visions and dreams to the canvas. Suz is also a doting mother. Her son Jeremiah is her life, and she does everything in her power to make sure that his future is filled with happiness. That mission includes not letting her ex-husband’s jail sentence interfere with her dreams or her son’s future.

Moving across the country, Suz brings her loving attitude and her amazing talents to California. The move to the West Coast is not only a new beginning, but Suz lands an extremely ‘cool’ job at the historic Hearst Castle, where she restores priceless paintings while looking out over the incredible ocean. But priceless paintings are not all that Suz finds in this amazing location; she also runs into Seth. Seth is way beyond just an old flame - he was the serious old flame that is now igniting right before Suz’s eyes. And while she’s trying to figure out if she and Seth can work - given the differences in their beliefs, and their past relationship - ex-husband Len appears to add further pressure to the shoulders of Suz.

Ms. Carobini, as always, offers beautiful sets that surround good-hearted characters, who are desperate to live their lives with the blessed hand of God leading them safely through their decisions. A great read! Enjoy!
