Abby Cooper is the FBI’s newest civilian profiler. She must use her powers of intuition to help them solve stacks of cold cases. Abby is not exactly welcomed by the other investigators when she arrives in Austin. Her reputation as a psychic definitely has preceded her and she must find a way to convince them that she is an asset to the team.
As Abby starts working on some of the cases, she becomes convinced that several of them are connected somehow. While searching for clues from one case, Abby and another agent find themselves in a shootout with a possible suspect. They are then suspended for not following protocol and Abby must find a way to investigate on her own.
I am an avid reader of mysteries and this book just reminded me how much I love them. I am proud to say that I did have the mystery solved by the time I finished (even though I only had a handful of pages left). I fell in love with Abby Cooper. She is such a loveable character. I found myself wanting to go on the sleuthing journey with her. The psychic eye mysteries are a great hit and should be a staple in every mystery library.
