Hailey and Logan have been blissfully married for two years. They recently bought a house and their friends help them move into their home. They are all getting excited because Joe & Marley, friends from college, are getting married in a week. When Logan breaks his toe, Hailey has to drive the two of them to the wedding. They are driving in the midst of a blinding snowstorm with white out conditions. When their car is hit by a truck, Hailey blacks out but awakens to discover they have been sent to the emergency room.
After leaving the hospital, Hailey can’t figure out why Logan keeps yelling at her some of the time while totally ignoring her the rest of the time. Has his love been severed because she caused the accident? Will he ever love her again?
From there, this story takes some twists and turns that I never expected. It is a bittersweet romance and I ache for both Logan and Hailey as we learn more about everything that is going on. While the dialogue in the beginning seemed stilted and a little contrived, the story soon starts to take off on its own. As the story fleshes itself out, the dialogue becomes more natural. The ending took me totally by surprise and made me cry. I think you’ll feel the depth of love in this story and enjoy it like I did.
