Dear Readers:

Anyone who has been keeping up with this series already knows the thrilling background of the characters. Lucy Walsh and Jeremy Cavalon’s young life was ripped apart by the same kidnapper long ago. And although Lucy was found and sent back to her family, Jeremy was found by…someone else. A pedophile, in fact, who took him away from his kidnapper and to an island, where Jeremy’s life got a whole lot worse.

Over the years, both of these people have worked on their past, trying to let go of the hideousness they went through as kids, and ended up getting married. Now, Lucy and Jeremy are finally looking at the future in a far more positive light. What Lucy wants the most is to have a child. She’s had failed attempts before, but now she is pregnant again and will do anything to make sure that this time works out.

An odd earthquake hit’s the East Coast, an event that a man by the name of Richard Jollton said would happen. He has spent his whole life studying seismic activity and predicted the event. What he didn’t predict was that ‘Mother Nature’ would spilt apart a prison on the East Coast and allow a true maniac to walk free.

This maniac is now stalking Lucy and Jeremy for a very big reason, and she is making sure that her vengeance is being taken out on the ones who hurt her family so long ago. What she does want is to make sure that Lucy has her child, because that child will be the Messiah, and this ‘nutcase’ will stop at nothing to make sure that her plan is the only plan that works out.

Add these characters all together, and you come up with a blend of suspense, mystery, fear, chills, and yet another book in a fantastic series. Staub has proven for many years that she can write a clever thriller, and she has not let her audience down even once. Enjoy!

Until next time,
Amy
