Molly Soderling, a nurse, agrees to accompany her young charge, injured and newly orphaned Toby Astin, from Florida to Texas along with his uncle and grandmother. She agrees to stay and help him adjust for the period of one month.
You see, Molly was orphaned herself at an early age and knows exactly how Toby feels. Frightened and unsure. Not to mention its mere weeks before Christmas plus he’s never met his relatives before.
And it’s those relatives, Richard and Elizabeth, who Molly is wary of. They appear almost mechanical, indifferent, to Toby’s emotional needs. In fact, Richard seems more concerned about his mother and his law firm than he does an injured little boy who lost his parents. In light of this, Molly becomes more protective of young Toby.
It’s not long, however, before Molly sees a change in the house, in the demeanor of both Richard and Elizabeth. One in which she should be happy for, as Toby begins to bond with his newfound family. But as the bonding happens so does something else. Molly feels left out and alone. She feels as if she’s on the outside looking in even though she’s included in family outings. She’s falling in love with not only Toby, but Richard, too. What is she to do?
Her Christmas Wedding Wish is a heartwarming and gentle romance. It captures the attention with its likable characters and their inner most desires and realizations. There’s a sense of intensity between Molly and Richard, subtle sparks that ignite and grow.
Take a couple hours to enjoy a sweet romance and some holiday cheer. This is one feel good story that will touch your heart (no matter the season).
