Gabrielle Ferrer’s plan isn’t going exactly the way she had thought it would. Seducing and drugging the high level diplomat to gain access to the materials she needed seemed like such a simple thing to start with. But it seems fate has something else in mind for her. Once she has the diplomat drugged, she is shocked to discover that she has been caught by an old flame – Rafael Navarro. There isn’t time to catch up on anything since someone has come looking for the diplomat but the adventure is just beginning.
Rafael was on his own mission and didn’t expect anyone’s arrival, especially the diplomat. Discovering Gabrielle with him is almost more than his eyes can believe. Needless to say when they have to run together things couldn’t get more complicated.
Or could they? For only having used a mild sedative to drug the diplomat, Gabrielle is overwhelmed to hear that the diplomat has been found murdered and she and Rafael are the chief suspects.
So much for an easy plan…
Gail Barrett is a master at creating a suspenseful tale full of twists, turns, mountains, valleys. The name High-Risk Reunion is an understatement! 
Just about the time that the reader gets to slow down and think that they can relax a bit, some other part of the adventure begins to unfold. Now just so you don’t start thinking it is all action, she has also woven in the romantic tension that just continues to build to the end. The words star-crossed lovers seem to appropriately describe Gabrielle and Rafael – even the names she has chosen for them fits.
This is part of the Stealth Knights collection and I am truly looking forward to more!!
