Dear Readers:
The author who brought you the highly acclaimed Ladybug Farm series has created this truly lovely romance that will keep readers extremely interested until the conclusion.
Sara Graves is a young woman who had a hard life growing up. Her mother was not the best of people, and Sara raised her younger sister, Dixie, and took care of her throughout their youth. When Sara was older, she left the trailer in North Carolina and got a job. She longed for adventure in the big city and did her very best to be the greatest worker who took her job extremely seriously for twenty years. Boring, stable, a hard worker – Sara never found much excitement in life until she attended a party of "movers and shakers" that was held in a penthouse in Manhattan.
While there, Sara found more adventure than she was looking for when she met up with a funny and charming poet named Daniel Orsay. After a three-month whirlwind romance, Daniel and Sara were married and then, almost immediately, Daniel passed away.
Sara went back to North Carolina and has been living day by day extremely upset that her sister Dixie has gotten it all. Dixie has a wonderful, loving husband; the kids; the house – everything that Sara has ever dreamed about but was robbed of almost the minute she married. What she also didn’t expect was the fact that her husband was the owner of a castle in France.
Soon Sara goes to the small village and meets up with Daniel’s best friend and attorney, Ash Lindeman. Ash is an extremely hard worker who can’t live without the cell phone ringing in his hands. And, on top of that, Ash has an ex-wife who is Daniel’s cousin, who wants nothing more than the castle – Rondelais – for herself.
Sara doesn’t know what to do as Ash leads her through the property and shows her the walled in garden and other aspects of the house fit for a princess. Not only is the house completely fascinating and makes Sara think twice about selling it, but a daughter named Alyssa appears who is said to be Daniel’s child, making Sara a surprise stepmom.
As the secrets and lies are uncovered, Sara finds herself in a situation where she must make tough choices, and try desperately to not fall in love with the lawyer who may or may not be an enemy.
This author not only offers a winning formula that will keep readers entranced, but the romance between the two main characters is a true leap of faith and fun to read. Enjoy!
Until next time,
Amy
