Madison Hughes is the "Cupcake Queen", but she knows she’s not the queen of love. After being dumped on Valentine’s Day a few years before, she can’t stand love songs or Valentine’s Day itself. Not a good thing for the premiere baker in her Maple Meadows town. She tries to fill her life with helping out her brother with his daughter. After her sister-in-law died, she’s tried to be a female influence in Kayla’s life.
Guess who’s coming for dinner? When her brother brings home his buddy Cameron Trent, her heart goes pitter patter like it did all those growing up years. Cam always saw her as Jake’s chubby little sister, but she always worshipped him.
Cam is quite caught up by the beauty that baby sister Madison has turned into. Can he break through her defenses and get to know her better? Will he lose his heart to her? Will he ever be able to share a love song with her?
A very short story, but it’s one that leaves you feeling good about life and the world. Love Songs is one of the good old-fashioned romances that just lifts your spirits.
