Talin McKade seeks help from leopard changeling, Clay, in finding

Even though Clay has found a family and some peace in the DarkRiver pack, he has built up emotional walls to protect himself from pain. Talin loves Clay but fears him at the same time. Talin must overcome her fears and come to grips with the abused child still inside her.
Mine to Possess grabbed me from the first, and I couldn't put it down until the very end. Ms. Singh has created a very addictive series, and I can't wait for the next book.
