Dear Readers:
Now being put out in paperback, this amazing book will be offered once again to readers who may have missed out on this beautiful romance the first time around. And, believe me, you do NOT want to miss out on this book. This author, who has become famous for The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, has penned one of the most intoxicating, romantic stories to be offered in quite a while.
This is a book about two people who have seen each other over and over and over again, almost since the beginning of time. Two people who were fated to be together, and in each and every time period the ‘gods’ or the hands of fate, themselves, has made sure they have seen each other, yet never have they experienced the "Happily Ever After" that they deserve.
In the beginning, Lucy is a young girl growing up in Hopewood, Virginia. The one thing Lucy has had for a good, long time is a secret crush on Daniel Grey. Daniel was always quiet and stayed to himself, but Lucy felt as if he was her soul mate. On the night of their final dance before graduating High School, an accident occurs, and Daniel and Lucy find themselves alone together having the conversation of Lucy’s dreams. Until…Daniel begins to refer to her as Sophia and telling an extraordinary tale that makes Lucy’s heart practically fall out of her chest. She runs from the room, only to hear the rumors later on that Daniel Grey disappeared that night - perhaps forever.
Readers are taken through this epic journey, beginning with their very first meeting when Daniel was a young soldier and took Lucy’s life by mistake. He believes that the constant pain he has found life after life - not being able to capture Lucy and keep her for an eternity - comes from the fact that he made a mistake he just can’t make up for. Chapters are filled with locales like Asia Minor, Constantinople, England, and one that brings forth an evil soul who will do anything to keep Daniel and Lucy apart.
In present day, readers are brought through Lucy’s life as she goes to college, party’s with her friends, and ends up at a psychic’s house, who tells her all about the man who has loved her for centuries.
This is an OUTSTANDING story. I am telling you, forget Bella and Edward - Lucy and Daniel have it all over those two. The romance, tears, strength, power, and obstacles that these two lovebirds have to go through is powerfully written, and readers will not want the book to end. Enjoy!
Until next time,
Amy
