The lives of Hollywood stars are all glitz and glamour…
Megastar Nathaniel Wolfe has played one role after another his entire life. Never does the real Nathaniel surface. There are too many memories, haunting memories. Communication with his family is almost nil. Yet on the night of his big stage performance, his past comes back to him full force causing him to run, not just emotionally, but literally, into costume designer Katie Field.
Katie has long lived in the shadow of her sister, which results in Katie becoming shadow-like. She’s a hard working designer who wants to be successful in her own right and help her mother in the process. As she’s almost bowled over by the Nathaniel Wolfe, it becomes clear he needs her help. Stuttering and stammeringly she gives it to him and soon finds herself in way over her head.
What happens next can only be considered as the making or breaking of them as individuals. So what does that say about them as a HEA couple?
I loved the dynamic between Katie and Nathaniel. The bits of humor Ms. Morgan incorporated between the couple were enjoyable as was the blend of emotional turmoil and sensual passion. Add to that travel and exotic locales and you have a sigh-worthy read.
Ms. Morgan has a winning formula. She shouldn’t change a thing.
