Kira Gunn, fashion designer, has taken the world by storm and is on the top of her game at the young age of 25. However, she remembers nothing of her life before Vincent Carson. Vincent, at age 31, has been her whole world for the past 15 years. He’s been a father, brother, teacher, confidante and now she wonders if she can break free of his overwhelming presence in her life. She wants answers about her past and the nightmares that have plagued her for as long as she can remember. Can she break free of Vincent long enough to find the answers she so desperately seeks?

Vincent has spent every moment of the last 15 years existing for no other reason than to protect Kira and keep her safe and happy. He knew he could never leave her alone when looking into her eyes as a child. How can he possibly keep her safe if she insists on finding answers? If she continues to seek out her past, it could endanger both of them and cost them their lives. Can Vincent possibly convince her to stop searching? How can he possibly allow the one thing that he values more than life itself to put herself in harms way?

As Kira and Vincent struggle to uncover and cover their past, their feelings for each other mature into a love. Will this be a fated love like Romeo & Juliet, or can they work it out and learn to trust each other?

Having read some other books written by Ms. Wiesner, I must say that I think she’s really hit her stride as an author. This book was the best one of hers that I have read to date. I thought she did a wonderful job of building the blossoming romance as well as keeping us on our toes as Kira & Vincent try to stay one step ahead of those who would take them down. The story moves from the first page to the last and I never found myself wishing for story changes or for more/less action. I felt like Ms. Wiesner was anticipating my desires as a reader and was able to deliver the story I wanted.

I will say you’d better hold onto your hats at the end. Wow! There are more twists, curves and hairpin turns than on a mountain road. I couldn’t put it down and was surprised at how some of the things turned out.

No Ordinary Love is a delightful blend of romance and action. Both segments mesh so well that it will entertain and delight both romance lovers and action/adventure lovers alike.
