Dear Reader:

This is the fourth book in the ‘Green’ series, and it is just as charming and peaceful as all the rest. Green, Louisiana is a simple place that has readers very much contented and happy while spending time with the Green residents.

In this new book a stranger arrives in Green. This suit-and-tie type guy is sitting in the stands at the school’s Rabbitt Rally, sticking out like a sore thumb in the small town. The one who seems to see the stranger first is Lois; Lois is a recent newlywed, having married Chris - everyone’s favorite ‘Green’ Coach. Lois is also the owner and operator of The Green News-Item - the paper that prints all there is to know about their small town. And looking at this ‘stranger in her midst,’ Lois can ‘smell’ a story.

Now it could be possible that this stranger is simply here because the anniversary of the killer tornado is coming up, and that’s the time when Green is flooded with reporters asking the same old questions and updating the world on how Green has been able to put itself back together…but Lois doesn’t think so.

Soon all is revealed, and the stranger only means to bring harm to Green. The new school administrator - the boss of Chris - is also not a nice person by any means. This slightly snotty woman - Priscilla Robinson - has come out of nowhere, and doesn’t even seem to like Green, let alone want to be the school’s administrator. When the news comes out that the State of Louisiana wants to close down the Green schools, Lois begins the ‘fight of her life.’ Not only does Lois want to stop the school from closing, but she must face the wrath of some pretty tough individuals while trying to keep her brand new marriage on-track!

As stated above, this is yet another nice, sweet story about the small town of Green. No thrills, chills, surprises, etc. - but a calm, peaceful setting that is definitely a good choice for a rainy afternoon.

Until next time,
Amy
