Lizzie Landry and Ethan Traub are the best of friends. Heís also her boss. Itís been a great arrangement, itís worked. Yet itís never been a secret that Lizzie has had plans to open her own bakery.
Ethan is frustrated. He couldnít ask for a better secretary/assistant as well as housekeeper/cook. They have a good thing going. One way or another heís going to see to it that it stays just as it is. A question he finds himself asking, though, is why does he want to stand in her way?
She canít seem to get ith through Ethanís head that she is really going through with her plans, follow her dream. The campaign heís cooked up to keep her by his side wonít work. Unfortunately, she's seeing Ethan in a whole new light and it can mean nothing but heartbreak for her.
Change is in the air. Which way will it blow for Lizzie and Ethan?
This is the type of romance I like to read; charming and heart-felt with some saucy moments. No over arrogant or supercilious heroes. No power-hungry heroines. Just two best friends who discover their love for each other in different ways and at different times.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy.
