When Hope got off the plane in Sisters, Oregon for her beloved Grandma's funeral she just had a feeling that something life altering was going to happen. What she didn't expect was that her Grandma would be the direct link of what could be the best thing to happen to her.

After the funeral Hope literally runs into Lewis Garson, her Grandma's attorney, while leaving the post-funeral gathering at her sister's house. This encounter sets things into motion though Hope doesn't know it yet. Lewis tells Hope she needs to be at the reading of the will. During the reading of the will, to the shock and disbelief of Hope's two sister's and rest of the family, Hope is given her Grandma's house and all her money but it comes with some conditions.

In order for Hope to completely get her inheritance she has to stay for a year and take care of her Grandma's dog Andy. Then not only would the house be fully hers, but also the almost one million dollars her Grandma had saved that no one knew about! This causes a major family feud with Hope and her two sisters. So much so that at one point Hope wants to go back home and forget about everything completely. Then she remembers what she thought she heard her Grandma say to her the day of her funeral, "Let Go!" There is also the chemistry between her and Lewis that is starting to brew as well. An attraction Hope is not sure about because of the way her little sister, though married, is acting toward him.

With all that is going on in her life I personally applaud Hope. Though she loses sight momentarily in keeping it all together she still comes to a decision that makes her happy and what she knows her Grandma would have wanted her to do in the first place with the plans that she set into motion.

This book is an inspirational romance and I love to read these. They make you feel like you can do anything short of conquering the world. As for Hope's story, it’s one of those realistic romances that most women wish could happen to them or dream it does anyway. I hope Melody Carlson continues to write more like these. I know without a doubt I will be reading them!
