Dear Readers,
Kathleen Paulson is the librarian in the small town of Mayville, Minnesota and the sometimes reluctant, owner of Owen and Hercules, two so called magical cats. These cats have some strange abilities such as: Hercules can walk through walls and Owen can disappear at will. Kathleen was not a cat person until the two followed her home one day and decided to stay. She had finally decided that these cats were really gifted and her mind was not playing tricks on her.
When a dead body is found in the alley behind Kathleen's favorite local restaurant, Kathleen knows that Owen's invisibility talents and Hercules' walking through doors trick will take Kathleen to a lot of clues that she wouldn't be able to normally find. Along with her assistants (Owen and Hercules) and a good-looking detective, Kathleen is adamant about finding out who killed Agatha Shepherd, a woman who has been very helpful to many of the townspeople. There is one, however, who is keeping dark secrets and it will take the cats and Kathleen some time to catch up with them.
I truly enjoyed this cozy as it contains some of my favorite things: Libraries and Cats. All cozy readers and others will be charmed by this book. And, sometimes I think my cat can disappear when he wants to and frequently does.
