Dear Readers,

It's now time to read Mattie’s story in this series. She appeared in the previous book The Protector as a cancer survivor. She’s always been a girl who was kept from achieving her goals and her situation has finally changed a little. She’s a sweet girl who has tried to be hopeful and she has a lot of faith that things are finally beginning to look good.

The only man that Mattie has been the slightest bit interested in is Graham Weaver, who is also her best friend. Unfortunately, due to her illness she has been in and out of medical facilities while other Amish girls were courting and finding the men that they would marry.

Sadly, for the two of them, gossip is spreading through the community that Graham is the father of a baby that Jenna Yoder is going to have and it looks like Mattie is back to worrying about Graham and not being able to picture a happily ever after dream of a perfect marriage and family.

This book turns out to be another Amish romance that readers will enjoy and readers will also hope that this is not the end of this series and the author will let us know what happened in the lives of the characters in this community.
