Kate Raab’s life is about to change forever by the Blue Zone. The Zone is part of the federal witness protection program. It is the highest level of protection with the greatest concern for the witnesses.
Kate is the oldest of three children. Her father was a dealer in diamond commodities and had provided for his family faithfully. They had an expensive home and lacked nothing. They had it all until one fateful day...
Escorted home by Federal Agents, her father tells the family they must leave immediately. No goodbyes to family or friends. No time allowed for packing. They’re horrified, they’re scared. What has their father done to turn their perfect world upside down and inside out…?
Relocation comes at a heavy price. Lack of freedom and identity. New names and all that goes with it will be issued to them. And if that weren’t enough, family secrets, who Kate’s parents are linked to and why begin to surface.
Kate is determined to find the answers to who her father really is. He’s evidently not the man she knew all these years as her father. But the deeper she digs for answers, the more danger her life is in.
Andrew Gross has brought forth a realistic view of what many Americans fear; losing their family and home, and everything they have worked for their entire life. It was obvious much thought and research went into the book which accounts for its accuracy in what could very well been a true story.
Be prepared to have your imagination captured and your thoughts engaged as you read Kate’s story. You may feel as if you were a part of the story, living each of the characters lives and feeling how they felt in each situation.
The Blue Zone is an excellent read. One you’ll want to read at a leisurely pace so as to not miss a vital clue or revelation.
