Emma Morgan didn’t know it at the time, but her impulsiveness months ago, while working abroad, was going to change her life forever. And those of her family and friends.
Falling in lust and marrying a hot and charismatic guy, only to be separated from him shortly after the wedding, was not one of Emma’s prouder moments. That’s why she never told anyone about it except for best friend Sara. But when Marco shows up wanting to pick up the pieces, well then, the cat’s out of the bag.
As if Emma’s life wasn’t strange or complicated enough before Marco showed up, things start to get stranger and more complicated when he makes himself at home in her flat.
Here's a list of for instances;
And I wouldn’t want to do that because Things To Do is highly entertaining. It’s quirky and fun. Emma’s outlook on herself and her life is both humorous and heartfelt. There are things in her life many of us can relate to.
The only downside I found was a few, and I do mean few, words of profanity coming from Emma. To this reader, few though they were, they seemed glaring and out of place. The reason being, the words didn’t jive with my impression of Emma.
But don’t let that stop you from reading Nell Dixon’s book. You’ll find in addition to it being amusing, there’s a bit of suspenseful action thrown in and while it’s a main plot point, the whole novel is Emma’s story, how she reacts and deals with the changes both good and bad that have popped up in her life.
I highly recommend you tag along with Emma as she tries to accomplish her lists of Things To Do. It’s a feel good story that will sweep you along right from the start.
