Faith Night Star of the Psy Clan Night Star is the most powerful

In a desperate attempt to contact Sascha Duncan, a Psy who broke from her people and the Psy Net, which sustains them, Faith travels into the Changeling territory. Once there, Faith is confronted by a Dark River Sentinel and jaguar Changeling, Vaughn D'Angelo. Vaughn makes Faith wait by a tree, while he travels to discuss Faith's situation with the alpha of his pack and mate to Sascha, Lucas Hunter. Lucas and Sascha decide to listen to and help Faith.
Visions of Heat is a multi-faceted paranormal romance with great characters, complex world-building, and a sometimes chilling, yet thrilling, plot. Ms. Singh creates a believable world , in which, there are three races-- the Psy, the Changelings, and Humans. Ms. Singh gives an in depth look into Psy society and the Psy Council, which has become too powerful and corrupt. The Psy Council is almost as chilling as the Psy killer, who invades Faith's mind. Vaughn and Faith make a wonderful couple and Vaughn is very patient with her. Because Faith has been taught to block emotions, Vaughn can only push her so far before she becomes overloaded. Slowly, Faith begins to awaken and experience life and love. Visions of Heat is a truly great sigh-inducing read, which I highly recommend.
