Mrs. Charlotte Harris' school is in danger, because the adjoining property is about to house a racetrack, which is unacceptable near a school for young girls. This racetrack would surely reduce her attendance drastically, and to add to Charlotte's problems her mysterious benefactor "Cousin Michael" has quit corresponding with her. Little does Charlotte know, that Michael started his masquerade in an elaborate plan to revenge himself on her but soon came to admire her and, now, only wishes to help.
Wed Him Before You Bed Him is the last book in the School for Heiresses series, and the identity of "Cousin Michael" is, finally, revealed. I have been waiting for this book with great anticipation, and while I enjoyed revisiting characters, whom I have come to love, I was a little disappointed in some of the actions of Charlotte and Cousin Michael. While I understand Michael's motivations, in my opinion, he continued his deceptions far too long. Charlotte, who had learned to be distrustful of men, was fearful of losing her independence and of trusting Michael. To be an older couple, Michael and Charlotte, in the beginning showed an immaturity in their relationship that was surprising. However, they worked through their issues, and in the end, obtained a loving healthy relationship.
All in all, Wed Him Before You Bed Him is an enjoyable addition to a great series, and I recommend it.
