Wrangling is the only thing Bobbie McIntyre knew and loved almost everything about it. Bobbie and her father always dreamed of owning their own ranch. Her father has died but Bobbie is determined to make their dream come true, so she moves on to gain more experience and scout just the right place.
Cattle rustlers have been a big headache for Jace Kincaid on his Double K ranch since his parents were killed. He’s been the only target in the surrounding area and he can’t figure out why. When Bobbie shows up hoping to get a job on the Double K, he’s convinced that God either has a sense of humor or he’s being tried by fire. A woman wrangler, just one more thing to add to the growing list of headaches.
Jace finds Bobbie to be a hard worker and knows what she’s doing. They seem to be drawn to each other. At first they fight the attraction even though they seem to be constantly thrown together but soon they can’t fight it any more. But problem after problem seem to be mounting. Even with the seemingly insurmountable problems, Jace doesn’t loose his faith and Bobbie even comes to know God.
The fire is the final straw! With so little cattle left and having to rebuild, Jace can’t figure out a way to pull the Double K out of debt. If only he knew who wanted to cause him so much trouble that he’d have to sell out. God is truly testing him, the Double K means everything to Jace, and now with nothing left, there is no way that he and Bobbie can be together.
As happens so many times, God has other plans for Bobbie and Jace. Will they be able to see past these problems to the solution God places on Bobbie’s heart? And who wants the Double K so badly that they will stop at nothing to shut Jace down? Will Jace find the answers that have plagued him since his parent’s deaths?
When All My Dreams Come True is a tender-hearted story that is written in a way that makes it seem you’ve been transported back in time to the Double K ranch. The characters are likeable, and yes, at times loveable, strong in their convictions in faith, family and principles.
I found the inspirational message strong and at times a little pushy but, Bobbie and Jace’s story overcame any disappointment. This is a romance that will stay with you long after you finish reading. Take the time to visit the Double K; you’ll be glad you did.
