Dear Readers:

I’m sure you know what I’m going to say before I say it. They’re Back! And…they should be. These ladies are always funny and charming from the word – go. Everyone would want to be a part of this group and certainly friends with every single character associated with this illustrious prayer group.

This chapter in the Prayer Group brings out the happiness, and chaos, that surrounds the wonderful holiday season. Thanksgiving we get through pretty easily, with the families rejoicing. Christmas, however, becomes more than a bit harried. And, let’s not even get started on New Years. Okay…lets…

Jodi Baxter can’t wait to celebrate the kids coming home, and she is ecstatic over the huge New Years Ever party that she’s going to hold. The decorations, the strange and glorious creatures that seem to come out of the woodwork at the holidays, join Jodi in her happiness and revel in the fact that the Lord gave them another year to spend in each other’s lives.

The Lord apparently has also decided that life should go on normally, meaning, with each gift He gives – a lesson usually comes along with it. I’m not going to release all the secrets because, lets face it, the unfolding dramas are the best parts of these books. Let’s just say that a former student of Jodi’s commits a crime that throws her for a loop. In addition, a ‘hurry-up’ wedding and the introduction of a child into their group is another plotline that will keep you reading.

I wanted to add, since I haven’t mentioned this before, that the author and her husband, Dave, are also the creators of a forty volume fictional set of books that introduce and tell the stories of Christian heroes. As a history buff, I would love to get my hands on that. The Yada-Yada books have sold over 350,000 copies and, maybe most importantly, have spawned prayer groups all over the country to celebrate life and the Lord. Enjoy.
