4 cups sugar
1 cup olive oil
1 large can pumpkin

Stir all three ingredients together.

Sift together and add:
5 c flour
4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp ground ginger
2 tsp cinnamon sometimes I add 1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp salt Nut meats (optional)

Pour into 3 greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour 15 minutes. 5 small loaf pans at 350 take approximately 1 hour. Individual loaves or muffin size take about 25 min. Loaves will keep for a long time if placed in plastic bags and stored in the refrigerator. I like to serve this bread warm with Cool Whip. This is the best pumpkin bread ever! It's an awesome recipe to use for individual loaves to use as gifts for neighbors, the mailman, etc.. I always double it.
