This fudge is very rich and very smooth. Very easy to make too!
1 - 12 oz. pkg. milk chocolate chips 1 - 6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1 tsp. vanilla (real is best) 1/2 c. chopped nuts (I use pecans) optional
In a double boiler melt the chips. When chips are completely melted, remove from heat (will immediately start to thicken) and add remaining ingredients mixing well. Pour and scrape sides of pan into a waxpaper lined 8x8 square or 8-inch round pan (a pie pan works well, too). Refrigerate until hardened and cut into bite sized pieces. Makes about 1 pound.
Peanutbutter chips can be substituted for the semi-sweet chips (really good).
