The publishing industry has many hands that grease the wheel. There are of course the authors. We wouldn't have books without them. But go beyond that, go behind the scenes to the publicist, the agent, the writing organizations and chapters, the editor, the publisher, the bookseller, and so on.

With this "column", not only will the guest columnist give you a peek into their world, how they contribute to keep that wheel greased and turning, they'll perhaps offer some sage advice. Perhaps you'll be inspired by their words, their dedication. Most likely, we'll all learn things we didn't think of, things we perhaps take for granted when picking up a book.
