Mocha-Kahula Balls

12 (1 ounce) squares semisweet chocolate
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup Kahlua
1 tablespoon instant coffee granules
2 cups ground pecans, divided
3/4 cup chocolate wafer crumbs

Combine chocolate, butter, and sugar in top of double boiler; bring water to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cook until chocolate and butter melt. Remove from heat; stir in cream, Kahlua, coffee granules and 1 cup pecans. Cover and chill until firm. Combine remaining cup of pecans and wafer crumbs; stir well. Shape chocolate mixture into 1-inch balls and roll in crumb mixture. Store in refrigerator. Yield: about 5 dozen.
